Riding Summer Schools

The riding summer schools take place during the Passover holiday and the summer vacation (two sessions).

The summer school is designed for the 7 – 12 age group (Grades A – F).

The summer school operates under a permit issued by the Municipality and the Ministry of Education, as required by law. An armed guard and first aid assistant accompany the children during the summer school.

The team of instructors is trained and polite (it includes instructors from the ranch and youth instructors).  The team works on the basis of warm and personal relationship with each child.  The summer school is appropriate for riders of all levels as well as children with no prior riding experience.

Summer School Agenda:

- Daily riding lesson of 45 minutes in a group according to the level of the child.  Each beginner is accompanied by a person leading the horse.
- Daily stable care lessons – care of the horses and the equipment through games
- Group games and sport
- Creative studies (including working with recycled materials for the good of the environment)
- Excursion to the Veterinary Hospital in Beit Dagan
- Excursions to the swimming pool (only in the summer vacation)
- Excursion to bowling
- Juggling studies
- Visit to the Safari (only in the summer vacation)
- Excursion to the water park (only in the summer vacation)
- T-shirt and hat is given to each child
- 10 am meal – bread roll with yellow cheese, cottage cheese or chocolate – as the child chooses

Points to Note:

- Children must attend the summer school each day dressed in long trousers (to the shoes) and closed shoes
- A Registration Form, including a Health Declaration, must be completed for each child
- Registration can only be done after payment in full

- Registration can be cancelled up to two weeks prior to the commencement date of the relevant summer school against payment of a registration fee only.  After that cancellation will be against a payment of 50% of the price of the summer school
